An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.
The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
